The Deluxe Double Room was comfy, and the bed felt great. I loved the beautiful views in the morning. But, the fire alarm went off a lot from 4am to 8am, which really messed with our sleep. Otherwise, everything was nice!

The setting was lovely with charming furnishings and a variety of nearby attractions. the cleanliness in our room was a concern, and the water pressure was low. The view wasn't ideal either, but the gardens were stunning, making this place still worthwhile.

Beautiful setting surrounding the hotel, perfect for a peaceful retreat. Unique original mirrors and paintings added character to the decor, making for an interesting atmosphere.
The room cleanliness left a bit to be desired, with cobwebs in both rooms. Water pressure in the sink was weak, making it a hassle for washing up. Privacy might be an issue. every time someone entered or exited through the front door, it created a loud noise that shook the entire house, waking us up twice during our stay. Poor views from the room compared to others, with just a wall outside the window and access through a tight space due to misplaced furniture. Basic amenities like tissues and a chair were missing, which felt like oversights considering the overall potential of the place.

A Comfortable Getaway with Room for Improvement
We enjoyed a cozy night in our room, though it was a bit cramped. The nearby restaurant offered delightful local dishes that made our stay memorable. Pro tip, make sure to secure parking in advance as the gate may not always be attended during late hours.

we had a lovely stay at vale house hotel. the beautiful setting and comfy beds made our time really relaxing. it was also cool to see animals like sheep and goats around, which totally made our experience more fun. we loved the original mirrors and paintings in the hotel, added a nice touch. also, the garden was stunning, perfect for some peace and chill.
the light shade in the bedroom was too low and my husband bumped his head a few times. plus, we had trouble finding the hotel car park and ended up with a parking fine.

Family with children paradise
Had a lovely time there, very original mirrors and paintings made the place really unique. Plus, the girls loved the animals around – sheep, goats, pigs, you name it, it was like a petting zoo, perfect for kids.
It wasn’t cheap but still acceptable.

missingWrote a review on May 23comfortable bedeasy accessgood locationpoor lightinglack of chairroom decor
The location near Belvoir Castle was perfect, making it easy to pop in for a visit. Instructions for access were straightforward, which I appreciated. The contactless entry made checking in a breeze. Blankets and bathrobes were provided since the room felt a bit chilly at times, possibly due to older window insulation. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The tea and coffee facilities were in good order, helping to start the day right. the room had some drawbacks. The lack of a proper dressing table or sufficient lighting, especially in the bathroom, made getting ready a bit of a challenge. No bedside rug meant cold feet on the floor in the night. The absence of a chair in the room was noticeable. it would have been nice to relax without sitting on the bed. The overall decor felt a bit disjointed, with eclectic pictures and mismatched light fittings. A better, more coherent aesthetic would enhance the experience.
