The Deluxe Double Room was comfy, and the bed felt great. I loved the beautiful views in the morning. But, the fire alarm went off a lot from 4am to 8am, which really messed with our sleep. Otherwise, everything was nice!

The setting was lovely with charming furnishings and a variety of nearby attractions. the cleanliness in our room was a concern, and the water pressure was low. The view wasn't ideal either, but the gardens were stunning, making this place still worthwhile.

the light shade in the bedroom was too low and my husband bumped his head a few times. plus, we had trouble finding the hotel car park and ended up with a parking fine.

The lack of a proper dressing table or sufficient lighting, especially in the bathroom, made getting ready a bit of a challenge. No bedside rug meant cold feet on the floor in the night. The absence of a chair in the room was noticeable. it would have been nice to relax without sitting on the bed. The overall decor felt a bit disjointed, with eclectic pictures and mismatched light fittings. A better, more coherent aesthetic would enhance the experience.
